Porcupine Dance

Move across the ballroom
with caution, of course.
Everybody's dressed in the sharpest of quills.
So if you want to survive,
Just follow the dress code and
don't complain.
Nobody will bother to
pull the needles out of your mouth
nor rip down the cross you bear.
Show no sign of your disrepair.
Everybody here is just as broken as you are.
Now follow me as we traverse this minefield
